Hello Cowan Families,
 
I am so grateful to be a part of the Cowan Colts!!  This is my third year at Cowan and my 26th year in education.  I graduated from Fort Valley State University with my bachelor’s and master's degrees in early childhood education and Columbus State University with my specialist degree in educational leadership.   Throughout my career, I have taught Pre-K (1yr), 3rd grade (4yrs), and 5th grade (3yrs). I have been an administrator for about 18 years. I am married (15 years) with 2 beautiful children, Brayden, 10 and Baylee, 8. 
 
Growing up, education was always a top priority in our home which is one of the reasons I became an educator.  I have always been committed to helping others learn and will continue to do so.  One of the things I love to do is read.  Let’s commit to making reading a priority every day for at least 20 minutes. You will be amazed at how much progress your child makes in a year.  Thank you for sharing your child with us!
