Griffin-Spalding County School System (GSCS) is so very thankful for all of our Partners in Education. So many businesses and organizations help provide opportunities and experiences for our students and teachers. Our district partners that each contribute in excess of $10,000 in value to help students are Brightmoor, Chick-fil-A, Dairy Queen, First National Bank, Georgia Banking Company, Marco's Pizza, Piedmont Fayette Hospital and United Bank. Thank you! Many others support the REACH and similar scholarships, individual schools, fine arts, athletics, and more. Some, like Norcom, provide school supplies. Some take part in the Partners in Education Fundraiser Golf Tournament (Sept 25 this year). Others serve as mentors and reading tutors for students. Community churches host events, volunteer at schools and pray for our students and staff. Thank you Griffin and Spalding for supporting our future through public education. We need you and we appreciate you!

Remember tomorrow night, August 11, is GSCS Parent University Family Fun Night of Math Games at 5:00 p.m. Come and join us to play number fluency math games. We will also discuss ways to support math learning at home. Get hands-on activities that the whole family can enjoy. Refreshments will be served.
